Hello, my name is Angel Ernest Kimanya, the headmistress at Tloma Primary School. I must say I feel honoured and humbled that I became a headmistress at this young age.
Previously, I was teaching at Mang’ola Chini Primary School before moving to Tloma in November 2020. I was chosen to be the Academic Master at Tloma Primary around January 2021 and served in that position for a year. I worked hard alongside the previous headmaster and my fellow teachers in academic matters to make sure our students improve academically in school. On 17th February 2022, I received a letter informing me that I was chosen to be the headmistress.
My goals as headmistress are to improve academics of the school. I want to improve the class seven results from last year’s 94% to 98% or more, also to maintain 100% success for class four students. Another goal is to make sure students have the highest level of discipline towards their studies, teachers and parents as well. Also, I want to cooperate with my fellow teachers on all plans to develop the school.
