Eleven Students Have Sponsorships. Can you help us get FIVE More??
Tanzania’s school year runs from January to December and we are so happy that ELEVEN of our students have been gifted sponsorships by generous people like you!
The deadline to apply to a boarding or STEM school is rapidly approaching. Students who miss that deadline will have no option but to trek 90 minutes or more to the closest day school. This option historically has a high dropout rate; only about 10% of Tanzania students who complete primary school also finish secondary school.
While we are delighted to have sponsorships for eleven students, Tloma’s teachers have identified five who critically need support to attend a boarding school or, for a couple, a STEM school would be really good. We’d like to introduce you to all sixteen of these amazing kids.

$1500/year for a STEM (Science,Technology,Engineering, Math) School.
$400/year for a local boarding school.
$150/year for uniform/food/supplies for the commute school.
