Back to Tloma!

Winona (that’s me) and Bob (my husband who did not accompany me on my three month stay) are headed back right now to Tloma.

Bob is hoping to help with some maintenance and repair and I’m going just to get out of our cold, northern Utah weather!!  In truth, I can’t wait to see the kids again.  I’ll also be able to give you a first hand report on the changes electricity has or can bring to the school, the prognosis for the well, updates on the construction of the dining hall, and, of course, how our Tloma Primary students are doing as well as those who recently graduated, especially our sponsored students.
If you have anything you’d like to know, or something you’d like me to do for you while I’m there, please don’t hesitate to email me at TlomaGivingInfo@gmail.com.

We are hoping to get a pen pal program going for the sixth and seventh grades so they can practice their English in a meaningful way.  It’s a challenge since postage is SO EXPENSIVE!!! Maybe they will be email letters if we can get a few more devices – and find a way to pay for the electricity!

Let me know if you or someone you know would like to become a Tloma Penner!
