Those lovely 6th graders some of you met when you visited have stepped up to be our next graduates. Teachers report the students are excited to learn and many are looking forward to following the 16 students from last year who have been sponsored to attend a secondary boarding school.
And, yes, we received sponsorships for 16 students! Three are attending a STEM school and the others are enrolled at one of four schools in Karatu. Here is a photo of three girls (L-R) – Paulina, Halima, and Ancila – with their mothers and Mr. Sulle as they begin their year at Banjika Secondary School.
