Although many parents in the Tloma region lack the funds to pay school fees, they still are passionate about their kids’ education. Many are facing unemployment due to Covid’s negative impact on safari tourism and on the village in general.
The “Parent’s Committee” helps organize funding for school lunches and to select candidates for sponsorship for secondary school. They met at the school recently to discuss a range of topics. Their involvement in their children’s continuing education is a huge benefit, especially during these times.
