For the past couple of years, the students at Tloma have been competing against nearby schools in track and field events. They did very well last year and several students were invited to compete in regional contests.
Training begins with school competitions, then progress to the district, regional, and even national competitions.
We saw for ourselves that some of these kids are terrific natural athletes, but have few opportunities to compete or to practice theirs skills. This is a great opportunity for them to participate in something they love.
