At least once a year the students are weighed and measured and given a vaccine to combat parasites. Marjan Tieberink’s visit to check on the progress of the new dining hall coincided with the health check and she was able to participate in the process.
Reducing contact with contaminated water and soil can go a long way toward preventing parasitic invasions, and the new dining hall will play an important role in protecting our students.
